Our Team
Pride in Pharmacy Association is led by a team of PharmD students at the UIC College of Pharmacy. We are comprised of both members of the LGBTQIA+ community and allies, joined by the common belief that LGBTQIA+ people bring the same measure of worth, and are deserving of the same amount of respect, as any other members of society.

Our team brings a diversity of perspectives and talents to the cause. We are confident that we would never have come so far without each other.

"Individually, we are one drop.
Together, we are an ocean."

Hailey Larson
President (R)
As a new pharmacy student and member of the LGBTQIA+ community, I was looking for a place to be wholly myself and a community that supports me and many others. I hope to shed light on various aspects of healthcare in our community and continue to learn alongside all of my peers. I am looking forward to watching this organization take shape here in Rockford! I think we have a very strong community base and that with everyone’s support PiPA can create a space for evolution and change on our campuses and surrounding community.

Three fun facts about me: I circumnavigated the world by ship in 2018, I have a vizsla (Hungarian bird dog) named Yoda, and I want to be an oncology pharmacist.

I joined PiPA in hopes of finding a more inclusive community to call home. I also think it is crucial to have voices speaking up for LGBTQIA+ matters especially in healthcare, where so many voices are surpressed and go unheard. I want to help be the one to give that population a voice!

Three fun facts about me are that: I love art and game design, I’m currently working on a game! I am a big horror fan. I love Dungeons and Dragons and have a dice collection!

I joined PiPA to show my support, and become a better ally to the LGBTQIA+ community. I am looking forward to working with other student organizations on the campus to create a more diverse and inclusive community for all.
Three fun facts about me: I was a member of the mandolin orchestra for 8+ years, I don't watch television, and my favorite book is The Master and Margarita.
